Jason Gamber’s Portfolio Project

What inspired you to make a career change into the UI design field?
I have been a graphic designer for several years, but never had a decent career takeoff. After researching what UI was, I discovered that UI was a natural progression for a graphic designer and for me especially. I fell in love with the interactive nature of the design.

What did you enjoy most about the animation course?
The learning content is up to date for current industry standards which gave me a great deal of confidence in the material. I was very impressed with how organised the courses were. My progress was easy to understand and because of that, it would always give me that boost to keep going!

What did you enjoy about creating this portfolio project?
I enjoyed watching the branding come to life with the animation. I’ve worked on so many branding projects involving logos, typography and colours and to watch it move and interact was particularly special and inspiring.

With regards to your new skills, what are your hopes for the future?
I hope to land an awesome UI role with a company and perhaps later, start my own!
